Features

Zoe_ChessBot has many features (and many more to come!), here's an explanation of them:

* Stockfish 17 Engine *
This chess engine is one of the most powerful and fast
Zoe can use it to evaluate positions and find the best move
The bot will set its power level to match the user Elo and the position

* Human Lichess Games *
Bot has access to the full Lichess analysis board to extract the most played move by humans! This doesn't always work (games are unique), and if it cannot find a human move then it uses Stockfish

* Opening Names *
Bot knows which Opening is playing, and it will tell the user its name! It will keep repeating for the first moves, to make sure to catch possible variants

* Games Review by Gemma 2b AI *
The Bot can use Artificial Intelligence to describe with text and images the games it plays!
You can see these in the Reviewed Games
Also, Zoe starts every game with a funny message generated by Gemma 2b AI!

* Telegram Bot *
A Telegram Bot called Zoe_ChessBot is online!
(For developer only) This bot can access the Lichess bot evaluations and send a message with info about its games!
It can also receive commands to change its Stockfish strength or start new challenges directly from Telegram chat
(for the moment it's for the developer only, but users can see it here!)

* Multiple Games! *
Zoe can play tons of different games at the same time and its currently playing 25 correspondence games
For the moment it accepts long cadence games (from 15'+14" and longer), both with and without rating changes
Zoe will keep challenging other bots in various time-cadences to test its skills.

The AI is creating a new page on the Games Review with all its games.

Since the games are many and it requires time, you can send me a Lichess message to speed-up the description of your game!

Work-In-Progress Features

What's the main goal of my Bot(s)? Well, it's not "simply" raising its Lichess Elo!

Many features in my mind, for example:

Trainer that can explain moves with Artificial Intelligence, via either Lichess or Telegram
Deep Learning to make the bot learn how to play at high level
Bots Tournaments

About the Bot(s)

Both Lichess and Telegram Bots are created with Python, with the respective API keys.
Chess bot uses chess modules and works with multiple threads to manage different games at the same time.
Stockfish is installed in the folder and the bot can execute it passing informations about the game.
Both bots share some variables in order to "comunicate" and access values

Now the bot is hosted on a VPS and is accessible h24 - 7/7!

About the Developer (me)

I'm Andrea, a Python Data-Science / Deep Learning appassionate and a Junior Full-Stack Web Developer
with a past on high level endurance sports (running, cycling and gym) and training-trends analysis.

At the end of 2023 I started programming with Python, for fun, and now,
